Again - I am a professional photographer - not someone who happens to have a digital camera and decided to take up wedding photography as a hobby. You only get one chance to have your wedding photographed - you don’t want to hire someone who is an amateur.
I also limit the number of weddings that I accept each year. That way I can make sure that I can give each couple that I photograph the time and attention their wedding deserves, unlike some studios that overbook themselves.
I have listed below some frequently asked questions by brides and grooms looking for a photographer.
Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
I look forward to meeting with you personally, showing you more examples of my work and discussing your plans for your wedding day.
What kind of images do you take:
I take both traditional (posed) images at your wedding and also photojournalistic images that capture the emotion, feeling, and spontaneity of the day. Prior to your wedding, I will discuss with you what types of images you like and any special pictures that you would like taken.
How many images will we receive?
I shoot an unlimited amount of images at each wedding. Most clients receive about 300 images in a digital proof magazine. Your images are also posted to a secure, password protected on-line gallery for three months for you and your friends and relatives to view. Also, you will receive a cd that contains all of your wedding images with full reprint rights!
How are your images produced?
My clients deserve only the best - that is why I personally review each image for color correctness and use a professional photography lab to produce all prints. What types of packages do you offer?
My packages begin at $1,100. Please click on “Wedding Packages” for all the information relevant to my wedding packages. I have a package to suit your budget.
Do you photograph more than one wedding per day?
No - never. I only photograph one wedding a day and have no time restraints. When you hire me - I am yours for as long as your wedding lasts.
Where are you located?
I am located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. I am available to photograph weddings anywhere in the greater Pittsburgh area and beyond.
What type of equipment do you use?
I use only a professional Nikon D2H camera. I bring back up equipment to every event that I photograph.
How do you dress for photographing weddings?
I will arrive at your wedding dressed formally in a suit and tie.
How do we book you?
A retainer fee of $500 and a signed contract reserves your date.
